The NCAA Tournament March Madness final features the Butler Bulldogs against the Duke Blue Devils.

You’re already fans, so I shouldn’t need to tell you that Butler is the underdog and Duke is heavily favored and all that blah, blah, blah.

Two number five seeds meet in the Final Four as the Butler Bulldogs play in front of their home crowd against the Michigan Spartans.

The Spartans aren’t the most talented team in the NCAA Tournament, but they always seem to go far in March. They play a stingy defensive game and their coach always seems to have a plan in place that gets his teams to over-achieve.

Much like the Spartans, the Bulldogs aren’t an exceptionally talented team and play a very stingy defensive game. They don’t have the experience of Michigan State, but they do have some beastly 3-point shooters and do an excellent job of moving the ball and the defense until they’re able to get a good look from beyond the arc.

The Spartans have the edge in experience and they have already convincingly beaten a team that plays the same style of game as Butler.

The Syracuse Orange are the heavy favorites coming in to this game. They will continue to be without injured big man Arinze Onuaku who missed the first two games of the tournament. But they have a ton of weapons and did fine without Onuaku in the first two games.

The Butler Bulldogs barely squeaked by their second round opponent shooting just .360 against Murray State and center Matt Howard spent most of the second half on the bench in foul trouble.

The Orange are 6.5-point March Madness lines favorites at betED and the over/under is 137.5.

All of Syracuse’s losses came when the opposing team shot over 50 percent and Butler isn’t shooting that well.
