Kentucky did ease off enough to give little Cinderella some hope after Kentucky fell behind 10-2 to start and let Cornell close to six points after holding a 17-point lead.
The number two seeded WVU Mountaineers were a little too much for the 11-seeded Washington Huskies to handle.
Da’Sean Butler hurt his right hand in the game, but he was able to play through what appears to be a minor injury and scored 14 points on the night.
These teams haven’t faced each other this year.
The Wildcats are 4-point March Madness lines favorites at betED and the over/under is 135.5.
Both teams have a strong defense, but Kentucky has a big advantage on offense so take the Wildcats.
These teams are fairly even on the inside, but WVU doesn’t have anyone who can match up against John Wall.
WVU is going to make this a slow and ugly game like Cornell tried against Kentucky. The difference is that the Mountaineers have scoring talent that Cornell lacked.
