The number one seeded Wildcats took Cinderella’s glass slipper, smashed the toe off and used the broken shards to completely mess her up in their 62-45 victory over the NCAA tournament darlings Cornell.

Kentucky did ease off enough to give little Cinderella some hope after Kentucky fell behind 10-2 to start and let Cornell close to six points after holding a 17-point lead.

The number two seeded WVU Mountaineers were a little too much for the 11-seeded Washington Huskies to handle.

The BYU Cougars play the Kansas State Wildcats in the second round of the NCAA Tournament on Saturday, March 20.

K-State showed that they mean business in their first round win blowing out North Texas. From the first tipoff, the Wildcats came to play and buried their opposition 82-62.
